It looks ok I guess, I just don't see Phoenix doing anything Jean cannot already do herself. Phoenix is supposed to be cumulative power of all psionic energy in the multiverse, as god-like as a god gets. All I see is an entity that posses Jean and is destructive. Are we to believe that regular Jean can't lift a train? Magneto lifted the entire Brooklyn Bridge, and destroyed a town. I imagine there will be more in the movie, and maybe I missed something, but the trailer is just ok to me. I admit to having less of a investment with the newer actors, but that's not on me, that's on the writers for never cultivating that connection.

I'm more excited about this than end game. I love the original Avengers but Bre has ruined it for me. Sophie is such a better actress!

So they completely skipped and messed up the Phoenix Saga, iconic storyline… but I'll still watch this movie because of the special effects.
