Disney Channel to Remake First Original Movie ‘Under Wraps’


Disney Channel is ready to remake it’s first unique film “Under Wraps” with a brand new forged, the community introduced Friday.

The new mission is described as a “contemporary comedic remake” of the unique 1997 Halloween film that includes new forged members Christian J. Simon, Malachi Barton, Sophia Hammons and Phil Wright. It is slate for a 2021 premiere on Disney Channel.

The film follows three pals, Gilbert (Simon), Marshall (Barton) and Amy (Hammons), who occur upon and awaken a mummy, which they affectionately title Harold (Wright), and should rush to return him to his resting place earlier than midnight on Halloween. Along the best way, the workforce narrowly escapes a nefarious group of criminals intent on promoting the mum to the very best bidder. Alex Zamm (R.L. Stine’s “The Haunting Hour: Don’t Think About It,” “Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2”) will direct the movie with Todd Y. Murata (“Sightless,” “Best. Worst. Weekend. Ever.”) and Fernando Szew (“Back of the Net,” “16 Wishes”) as govt producers for MarVista Entertainment. Zamm and William Robertson (“Inspector Gadget 2,” “Woody Woodpecker”) are writing the reboot based mostly on Dan Rhymer’s unique script.
